11 hurt in clash over land dispute
At least 11 people were injured in a clash between two groups at East Saidkati village in Banarpara on Sunday over possession of a disputed land.
All the injured were taken to Banaripara health complex. Two of them --Lal khan and Khalek Sarder -- were later shifted to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in critical conditions.
Police arrested four persons after a case was filed by one Selim Mridha. The arrested persons are Selim Rahman, Sakhwat, Ruman and Kohinur.
Police said the rival groups were led by Lal Khan and Rahman Howlader, who had a dispute for long over possession of 2.32 acres of land.
