Young man's body recovered from KUET hall safety tank

A mobile phone, a gold ring and a purse containing Tk 5,000 were also recovered from beside the body.

According to residents students, the body was found when it was being dragged by a dog from the safety tank. The body is yet to be identified, police said.

The incident has created sensation among students of KUET and residents of all the four halls. They have demanded an immediate investigation jointly by police and KUET authorities.

When asked, OC of Khanjahan Ali thana said that investigation is going on to identity the young man.
