Truckload of smuggled Indian sugar seized

Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SI Rafiqul Islam kept waiting at Sonaimuri on the Laxam- Sonaimuri road and seized the truck with 243 bags of Indian smuggled sugar.

The driver and another person have been arrested. The sugar and the truck were deposited with Comilla customs. A case has been filed with Laxam thana.
