Schoolgirl dies while sighting Shawal moon
A schoolgirl met the tragic end of her life as an under-construction wall near her house collapsed when she was trying to watch the new 'Shawal' moon on Tuesday evening.
Sumi, 13, daughter of police sub-inspector Abdul Halim and a student of class VII of Lalmonirhat Government Girls High School was climbing the wall along with other enthusiastic youngsters when it collapsed suddenly injuring her grievously.
She was rushed to the Rangpur Medical College Hospital where she died.
