Management of the private-run mill has blamed Jamaat leader Mia Golam Quddus for preventing mill workers from going to their shifting duties.

Meanwhile, the joint forces have dispersed an anti-management procession violating Section 144 imposed on Saturday in the mill area.

The General manager (GM) of the mill, AKM Shamsur Rahman has filed a general diary (GD) with Khanjahan Ali thana accusing Jamaat leader Quddus and six others for creating lawlessness in the mills.

The six accused are Rezaul Karim, Asgar Ali, Waliur Rahman, Abul Kalam, Mukul Matbar and Zahidul Islam.

Pro-management workers and employees have alleged that the Khulna city Ameer of Jamaat Mian Golam Parwar MP, has asked the concerned officer-in-charge (OC) not to treat the GD as FIR and harass the six accused. The prime accused, Golam Quddus happens to be his younger brother.

The GM has complained further that Jamaat leader Quddus and his associates had been intimidating the general workers for their support to management.
