Police constable killed in Khulna road mishap

The victim was identified as Shudhangshu Sutradhar,28, of the Armed Police Battalion. He hailed from Matlab upazila of Chandpur.

Police and eyewitnesses said that a Khulna- bound truck ran over the police constable while he was crossing the road riding his bicycle. He died on the spot.

However, the driver of the truck managed to escape. Police seized truck soon after the accident.
