Orientation programme for journalists

Held in the conference room of Zilla Parishad, the programme was jointly organised by the IEM unit, the Family Planning Directorate and the District Family Planning Office with the financial assistance of UNFPA.

A total of 25 newsmen from various national dailies, news agencies and electronic media participated in the programme.

Rawshan Ara Begum, DD, Family Planning, presided over the inaugural function while it was addressed, among others, by Mohiuddin Tawhid, AD, Family Planning, Dr Ranjit Kumar Mandal, MCH, Shibalaya, Dr AR Rokiba Begum, Medical officer, MCH, FP, Manikganj Sadar and Md Rafiqul Islam, Secretary, Zilla Parishad Manikganj.

M Emdadul Huq, Chief Executive, Zilla Parishad, Manikganj was present as chief guest and Mosleh Uddin, ADC (Gen) was special guest.

The concluding ceremony was also chaired by Rawshan Ara Begun.
