Two 'outlaws' among 4 held at Dumuria
According to police, Shimul Biswas, 32, a member of New Biplobi Communist Party (NBCP), was arrested Friday evening at Dumuria bus stand. He was wanted in a number of criminal cases, including 14 for murder, lodged with Dumuria and Batiaghate police stations.
Shimul was allegedly involved in the murder of Molla Sirajul Islam, secretary of Khulna district Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal.
The others NBCP cadre arrested is Masudur Rahman, 35, accused in several murder cases recorded with Dumuria police.
Police also arrested Jiten Ghos, 44, and Shankar Gain, 40. Shankar is an elected member of Shahash Union Parishad in Dumuria upazila.
