No sea truck service on Barisal-Laxmipur route
There is no passenger service in Barisal-Laxmipur river route for the last eight days following withdrawal of the lone BIWTC sea truck Khizir-8 for repair.
Khizir-8 was pressed into service in the route last year.
BIWTC sources said, electricity generator of vessel went out of order. The generator was sent to Narayanganj for repair.
