7 posts of police inspector vacant

The break-up of vacant posts is as follows. Seven posts of inspectors in seven thanas (Officer-in-Charge), one court inspector, one inspector each in Detective Branch (DB) and District Special Branch (DSB).

The posts of inspector in DB, DSB, court and Officers-in-Charge of Debhata and Tala thanas have been lying vacant for about three months.

The Officer-in-Charge of Kalaroa thana, Golam Kibria and the Officer-in-Charge of Kaliganj thana Shahidul Islam have transferred to Rajshahi range and Magura.

Since then the posts of inspectors have been lying vacant. The sub-inspectors of police of respective police stations are now discharging the duties of inspectors.
