The loans will be utilised for goat rearing, poultry farming and other economic activities in rural areas. A discussion meeting was also held at the UNO local office marking the distribution on Saturday.

Local parliament member Mawlana Abdul Aziz attended the function as chief guest. Presided over by UNO Tapan Kumar Ghosh, the function was also attended by local body representatives and the elite.
