Nalchhity A L leader murdered

Akbar Ali Howlader, 55, AL president of Ward no 2 in Kusangal union was missing since he left his shop at Tak Bazar (a market) on Sunday night on a bicycle.

Being informed, police on Monday recovered his floating body with eyes gouged out and marks of injury on other parts from a canal near the Jamura bridge.

The bicycle was found near the body.

No case was lodged and no body arrested in this till Tuesday, police said.

Akbar was also the general secretary of Nalchhity Deed Writers Association.
