Nilphamari police beside cold-hit people
All the members of Nilphamari police, irrespective of their rank and file, have set a unique example by donating their one day's salary for the destitutes. With the money they bought warm clothes for them.
The Superintendent of Police (SP), Nilphamari, Chowdhury Abdullah-al-Mamun distributed sweaters among over 100 people at the district police line ground on Wednesday.
During the distribution ceremony Additional SP Rezaul Karim, ASP circle Jatin Poddar, officers and newsmen of different national dailies were present.
Police will distribute warm clothes in turn in all the six thanas of the district.
