Road accident kills 2 in Magura
Two persons were killed and two others injured in a road accident when a Jhenidah-bound truck hit a rickshaw van from behind near Golakata bridge in Sadar upazila on Magura-Jhenidah highway yesterday.
The dead were identified as Shafiul, 30, and Azam Mia, 40, of Ramnagar village in Magura Sadar upazila.
The two injured Zahidul, 25, and Mizan, 32, of Ichchakhada village in the same upazila were admitted to Magura Sadar hospital.
The driver fled the scene with his vehicle.
