Mismanagement in distribution of RU admission forms

Several hundred students waited in line from 9 pm to 1 pm on Thursday, but many of them returned frustrated for not getting admission forms during the period, admission seekers said.

Agrani Bank employees and policemen were found to have taken extra money for admission forms at the bank counter. Islami Chhatra Shibir cadres coming from outside the university campus also sold admission forms demanding extra money from admission seekers.

Meanwhile, teachers, student leaders, political leaders and university employees took admission forms showing a token singed by the university proctor.

On contact, RU Proctor Shamsul Alam told this correspondent that the mismanagement was due to flexibility of the university authorities in distribution of admission forms and in admission procedure.
