Life term for bus robbery in Kushtia

The convicts are are Abul Kasem 23, of Halsadanga village in Manirampur upazila in Jessore and Ismail Hawladar, 32, of Razapur village in Swarankhola upazila in Bagerhat.

The two were among eight others who robbed the Khulna-bound bus from Rajshahi when it crossed the Jhenidah Cadet College in the evening on May 5, 1999. Villagers caught and handed them over to police. The rest escaped.
