Driver killed in Rangamati truck accident
The driver of a Chittagong-bound truck was killed while helper's left leg severed from body and another injured critically in a road accident at Manikchhari on Friday.
Police said the truck fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over steering when the truck was taking a turn at around 9 am.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Selim, 26, of Modunahat in Chittagong. Shahjahan, 24, whose leg was severed is now undergoing treatment at the Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Injured Monsur, 19, was admitted to Rangamati General Hospital.
