BCP cadre killed by PBCP rivals

A cadre of outlawed Biplobi Communist Party (BCP) was shot dead by rivals at Raghunathpur village under Harinakundu upazila in Jhenidah on Monday.

The dead is Sarwar Hossain, 30, son of Farid Mondol of the village.

Police told this correspondent outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) cadres called Sarwar out of his house adjacent to Teherhuda village. They took him to a nearby filed and shot him dead.

Police recovered the body and sent to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Police arrested 25 persons from the village. But all the arrested are innocent, claimed villagers.
