RUTA protests bombings

Speakers at the rally expressed deep concern over continued bomb blasts on court compounds, saying this is a deep-rooted conspiracy to destroy the judiciary and destabilise the country.

The perpetrators are enemies of the country they said and urged the government to identify the real culprits behind the incidents and to take stern action against them.

The government must bear the responsibility for the blasts, they said.

They called upon the people to unite against terrorism and bomb attacks to ensure security in public life.

The speakers included RUTA General Secretary Prof Abdul Hai Talukder, RU Student Advisor Prof Zahid Hassan Milky, Proctor Prof Shamsul Alam Sarker and Prof Abdus Salam.
