19 films receive government grant
The government of Bangladesh has been up front about supporting the film industry, providing funds since 1976-77 fiscal year. Amidst the pandemic last year, the highest number of films were provided a handsome amount of fund, to encourage the film industry. This year, 19 films have received the grant, to the elation of directors, actors and the crew linked to the projects.
