Atique Anam from Sylhet

Having gone down in their first two matches, the Bangladesh women's team will be looking to get some confidence back by pouncing on an out-of-sorts India side when the two sides meet in their Group B encounter of the Women's World Twenty20 at the Sylhet Cricket Stadium today.
Salma Khatun's team languish at the bottom of the pile with no points and a big negative net run-rate while India sit just above them, thanks to a superior net run-rate, despite losing both matches they have played so far.
Despite losing the pre-world cup T20 series against India 3-0 at home and never having beaten their neighbours, Bangladesh will feel that India are their best chance of a win, as the Indians have shown they are not in the best of form right now. However, Salma's team will have to guard against the danger from skipper Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur, both of whom can take the match away with their aggressive batting, while Jhulan Goswami remains the source of inspiration with both bat and ball.
On the other hand, Bangladesh will have to show great improvement with the bat, as bowling and fielding has been reasonably well so far. If Salma herself can turn in an all-round show, a win may not be unlikely.
The match will start at 3:30pm (BST).
