EXIM Bank gets new AMD
EXIM Bank PLC recently appointed Abdul Aziz (Zumma) as the additional managing director (AMD).
Prior to his appointment, Aziz had been working in the same position at Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, the bank said in a press release.
With an illustrious banking career spanning over 38 years, he began his journey as an officer at NCC Bank in 1986.
He later joined First Security Islami Bank as an assistant vice-president in 1999 and moved to Shahjalal Islami Bank as senior vice-president in 2005.
Over the years, he has served in senior executive roles at First Security Islami Bank and Shahjalal Islami Bank, managing key areas such as corporate banking, SME, export trade, special asset management, and retail.
He also served as the chairman of the investment committee and chief business officer.
Aziz obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in management from the University of Dhaka. Later, he earned an LLB degree.
