Foodpanda partners with Fresh Super Mart to expand grocery delivery
Country’s leading online food and grocery delivery platform, foodpanda, has signed an agreement with Fresh Super Mart, a business unit of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), to offer Fresh Super Mart’s everyday essentials through foodpanda’s q-commerce service.
As part of the partnership, customers can order groceries and other everyday essentials from 10 Fresh Super Mart outlets across Dhaka through the foodpanda app.
The participating outlets are located in Motijheel, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka University, Mirpur 10, Mirpur 11, Pallabi, Uttara Centre, Uttara North C Gate, Uttara North D Gate and Gulshan 1.
Customers can also enjoy a 25 percent discount on pastries and beverages from all Fresh Super Mart Cafe outlets when they place a pick-up order through the foodpanda app.
Mohammad Tabrej Khan, director of Q-commerce at foodpanda Bangladesh, and Tanveer Mostafa, director of Meghna Group of Industries, signed the agreement at a ceremony held in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.
Tabrej Khan said foodpanda aims to become the go-to everyday app by making customers’ daily needs more convenient, affordable and accessible.
“As we continue to grow q-commerce in Bangladesh, we are focused on expanding access to quality products, greater choice and reliable on-demand delivery,” he said.
“Our partnership with Fresh Super Mart brings together their trusted assortment and foodpanda’s technology and delivery network.”
Tanveer said Fresh Super Mart was built around making everyday shopping more convenient and accessible for urban consumers.
“Our partnership with foodpanda takes this convenience a step further by bringing Fresh Super Mart’s products closer to customers through a trusted digital platform,” he said.
“We are pleased to offer customers across Dhaka greater choice, attractive savings and an easier way to access their everyday essentials,” he added.
