Uttara Motors rolls out new Isuzu Luxury NQR bus
Uttara Motors Ltd, the authorised distributor of Japanese commercial vehicle brand Isuzu in Bangladesh, today launched the all-new Isuzu Luxury NQR bus in the country.
Marketed under the tagline “Isuzu NQR Bus – Your Everyday Travel Partner”, the vehicle is designed for passenger transport and is aimed at corporate staff shuttles, student transportation, airport transfers, and premium tour and travel services.
The bus is now available through Uttara Motors’ nationwide sales network, backed by after-sales support and genuine spare parts.
Matiur Rahman, chairman and managing director of Uttara Motors Ltd, and Abdul Latif Mollah, chairman of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, jointly inaugurated the vehicle in Dhaka, according to a press release.
Speaking at the launch, Matiur said, “For over 40 years, Uttara Motors has committed itself to delivering world-class automotive solutions to Bangladesh. The introduction of the all-new Isuzu Luxury NQR bus marks another milestone in our journey.”
“We are confident that this bus will set a new benchmark for reliability, passenger comfort and operational efficiency for corporate and institutional transport,” he added.

The Isuzu Luxury NQR bus is powered by a 4-cylinder, 4,570cc Japanese engine that produces 115 horsepower and 291Nm of torque. It features a hydraulic brake booster system, high-strength front and rear axles, alloy steel leaf spring suspension, shock absorbers, and a stabiliser bar to enhance safety, stability and ride comfort.
The bus also offers a spacious cabin with a wide aisle, generous headroom, a 2×2 seating layout with reclining seats, individual air-conditioning vents, and an integrated premium sound system.
Sadaomi Ichihara, manager, and Shihua Shang of the CIS and South Asia Group at Isuzu Japan, along with senior executives from various corporate houses, Isuzu fleet owners, officials of Uttara Motors Ltd, and other guests attended the launch ceremony.
