CP Bangladesh launches 'CP Five Star Extra' QSR in Dhaka

CP Bangladesh Co., Ltd. has inaugurated a new Quick Service Restaurant, “CP Five Star Extra”, at Plaza Central on Old Elephant Road in Dhaka.

The outlet, located on the first floor of Plaza Central, is fully operated under the company’s own management. According to a company press release, the restaurant will offer fried chicken in a modern and hygienic environment.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the President of CP Bangladesh Co., Ltd., the Chief Financial Officer and the Business Unit Head, along with local business representatives and community members.

The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, an outlet tour and product tasting.

Speaking at the event, the President of CP Bangladesh said, “The launch of this new Quick Service Restaurant ‘CP Five Star Extra’ reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality fried chicken products directly to consumers. Our aim is to make premium food products accessible while upholding global standards of hygiene and sustainability.”

The company said the outlet has been designed following modern standards with a focus on quality control and food safety.

CP Bangladesh said it plans to expand its Quick Service Restaurant network in Dhaka to strengthen its direct-to-consumer operations. The company also reiterated its focus on sustainable farming and innovation in the food sector.
