KFC hosts ‘Eidi for Angels’ event for underprivileged children
KFC Bangladesh organised a programme titled “Eidi for Angels” for underprivileged children during Ramadan.
The event was held at a KFC restaurant in Dhaka where children were invited to attend an Iftar, says a press release.
The children were served KFC meals in a decorated setting as part of the programme.
They were also given educational materials, stationery and toys including books, notepads, pencils, colour palettes, Rubik’s Cubes, Ludo sets, puzzles, carrom boards and chess sets.
Amit Dev Thapa, CEO of Transcom Foods Limited, said, “It brings us great joy to organize an Iftar and present gifts to underprivileged children through this ‘Eidi for Angels’ initiative. As part of our commitment to the community, KFC Bangladesh will continue to undertake such initiatives in the future.”
Transcom Foods Limited operates KFC Bangladesh as the sole franchisee of the brand in the country.
The company has been operating the brand since 2006 under licence from KFC International Holdings LLC, USA.
