Royal Enfield marks one year in Bangladesh with new Classic 350 and Meteor 350
Royal Enfield marked the first anniversary of its operations in Bangladesh with the launch of new Classic 350 and Meteor 350 motorcycles, reaffirming its commitment to the country’s mid-size motorcycle segment.
The company unveiled a limited-run Classic 350 created exclusively for Bangladesh. The anniversary edition features four colourways named after locations in the country - Dhaka Amber, Comilla Black, Rajshahi Red and Sundarban Green. The variants retain the Classic 350’s established design and craftsmanship.
Alongside the anniversary model, Royal Enfield introduced the Meteor 350, positioned as a modern cruiser. In Bangladesh, the Meteor 350 will be available in four variants — Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova — across seven colour schemes.
Both models are powered by the J-series 350cc engine, designed for urban commuting and long-distance riding.
The newly launched motorcycles will be rolled out from the company’s local manufacturing facility, expanding its operational footprint in Bangladesh.
Taskeen Ahmed, Vice Chairman of IFAD Motors, the authorised distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Bangladesh, said, “Completing one year in Bangladesh is a significant milestone for us. The overwhelming response from riders and enthusiasts has created more excitement around the brand. The anniversary editions of the Classic 350 and the expanded Meteor 350 line-up are our way of celebrating the ever growing riding culture in the country, while reaffirming our commitment to delivering pure motorcycling experiences.”
IFAD Motors distributes Royal Enfield motorcycles in Bangladesh and operates a local manufacturing facility supported by a sales and after-sales network. The company has undertaken rider-focused initiatives to expand the country’s motorcycling community.
The launch event was attended by the Chairman of IFAD Group, Vice Chairmen, Group Managing Director, invited guests from corporate houses and banks, members of the biking community and Royal Enfield riders.
