Team Bangladesh wins 15 awards at Int’l Robot Olympiad 2024
Team Bangladesh has won 15 awards including 3 gold medals at the 25th International Robot Olympiad (IRO). Held from 16-19 January 2024 in Athens, Greece, a total of 1,400 students from 26 countries participated this year, where Team Bangladesh won 3 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 4 bronze medals, and 2 technical medals.

AIUB and AERD successfully launches their first weather balloon, Akashbani V1
Amateur Experimental Rocketry Dhaka (AERD), in collaboration with the Dr. Anwarul Abedin Institute of Innovation (D2A2I) and the American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB), successfully launched their first weather balloon on January 12, at 10:30 AM at the AIUB Campus. The balloon later landed smoothly just 120 kilometres from the launch site at Cumilla with all payload and equipment intact.
