3 arrested for forging Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s signature

A Dhaka court today placed three people on four-day remand each in a case filed over forging the signature of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

It was not explained what the three were using the forged signatures for.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Moinul Islam passed the order after the trio were produced before the court with a seven-day remand prayer each in the case.

The accused are Tariqul Islam, Fahad and Nazim Uddin.

Police earlier today arrested the three from different parts of the country on charges of forging the PM's signature.

A case was filed with Tejgaon Police Station against them in this connection on May 5.
