4.14 lakh job seekers went abroad in last 10 months

Over 4.14 lakh people went abroad with jobs after getting approval of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training in last 10 months since January this year.

A meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment yesterday revealed this.

Implementation of Overseas Employment Policy-2015, to be a guideline for recruiting agencies and establishing discipline in overseas jobs, is on progress.
