Balukhali Blaze: Med supplies arrive from Turkey
A flight from Turkey landed at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram carrying supplies for a field hospital for Rohingyas yesterday.
A Turkish Air Force flight-C130 carrying 20 tonnes of goods including generators, tents and equipment landed at 2:30pm, said airport manager Farhad Hossain.
"Turkey government sent the materials to reconstruct the field hospital named Turkish Hospital -- which was gutted in the fire at Balukhali rohingya camp," the official added. "It will be handed over to hospital authority in presence of the Turkish ambassador."
