Bar Council to help PM execute Vision 2021

Bangladesh Bar Council's newly elected Vice Chairman Abdul Baset Majumder yesterday said 50,000 lawyers of the country will extend supports to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to implement her Vision 2021 mission.

The lawyers will work together for implementing Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's ideology, he said while presiding over a meeting organised by Bangabandhu Ainjibi Parishad (BAP), platform of Awami League-backed lawyers, marking the 69th birthday of Sheikh Hasina, at North Hall of Supreme Court Bar Association.

Baset Majumder, also BAP president, said he will place the lawyers' demand before the prime minister for constructing a separate building for the Bar Council, and developing the benevolent fund meant for them.
