BBS launches 2011 census data today

Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) has uploaded 2011 census data which will be launched today at the capital's Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel to ensure public's free access to data.

With support from the UNFPA and the European Union delegation to Bangladesh, BBS is also launching 135 national, district and community series reports, 14 thematic population monographs and the 2011-2061 population projection estimates.

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will be the chief guest while Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the EU in Bangladesh Pierre Mayaudon, and UNFPA Representative Argentina Matavel Piccin will be the guests of honour.
