CU VC calls on president

Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Prof Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban yesterday.

During the meeting, the President, also the chancellor of the university, underscored the need for maintaining congenial academic atmosphere in the university, President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin said.

He also advised the university authorities to take special steps to reduce session jam.
