DB may implicate Oyasiqur killers in Avijit murder case

Detectives may implicate the two arrested killers of blogger Oyasiqur Rhaman with the killing of Avijit Roy and seek their remand in that connection.
The two arrested killers Zikurullah and Ariful Islam are being interrogated by detectives to get clues about the killing of Avijit Roy, another blogger and online activist who was hacked to death on February 26, interrogators told The Daily Star
Detectives are also trying to extract information about the criminals involved in organizing the crimes from the killers who confessed to  killing Oyasiqur Rhaman.
They are of the opinion that much useful information about a number of recent sensational murders will be known if the criminals involved in the killing of Oyasiqur are arrested.
Blogger Oyasiqur Rahman Babu, 27, was attacked by three cleaver-wielding youths in the capital's Tejgaon Industrial area on March 30.
Two of the attackers were caught by the public and handed over to police. Both madrasa students, they confessed to the killing during primary interrogation.
A Dhaka court sent the two suspects in eight-day remand on March 31.
