Death anniversary

Today is the 21st death anniversary of Rokeya Begum, mother of Daily Star Senior Reporter Hasan Jahid Tusher.

On this occasion, recitation from the holy Quran and special prayers will be held in all the mosques in her Sreerampur village in Magura and her parental home at Kodalia in Jhenidah after Maghrib prayers.

She left behind her husband, four sons, two daughters and a host of relatives.

Relatives and admirers have been requested to attend the programmes for the salvation of her departed soul.
