Dhaka to north rail service sees three hours disruption
Rail communication between Dhaka and northern districts of the country resumed after it had been disrupted for nearly three hours yesterday due to a technical glitch of Dhaka-bound Ekata Express.
The train coming from Dinajpur went out of order in Meerergaon area of Gazipur around 8:15am, said Md Shahidul Islam, station master of Joydebpur Railway Junction.
The communication returned to normalcy around 10:15am after a train servicing team resolved the problem, he added.
However, no casualty was reported in this regard.
