Dhirendra Nath new railway DG

Dhirendra Nath Mazumder, the additional director general (infrastructure), of Bangladesh Railway has been appointed as director general of the state-run transport agency.

The railways ministry yesterday issued a circular in this regard.  The order will come into action immediately, it said.

Following the order, Dhirendra took the charge yesterday, BR officials said. He replaces Md Shamsuzzaman as DG.
