DU online application process for 1st-year admission tests postponed till Sunday

Dhaka University authorities have decided to postpone the online application process of the first-year admission test for the 2020-21 academic session till 8:00pm next Sunday due to server problems.

The university took the decision as admission seekers were facing problems getting access to the server while completing their admission forms, said Prof Md Mustafizur Rahman, convener of the online admission committee.

"We have postponed the online application process from 12:15pm today. It will remain suspended till 8:00pm next Sunday," he told The Daily Star.

The authorities have taken the initiative to set up new servers to resolve the issue, he said.  

The university sources said the application process was stalled due to extra pressure on the server for additional application.

The application process for admission started from 4:00 pm on March 8, which will continue till March 31.
