Easy bikes go off Bandarban town streets centring on Quader's visit

Owners and drivers did not operate unauthorised battery-run three-wheelers, known as easy-bikes, in Bandarban town yesterday centering the expected visit of Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.
Md Mamunur Rashid, president of Super Bike Auto-Rickshaw Owners Association, said they will not operate the vehicles till today following a request from the district police administration.
The minister is expected to visit Bandarban to inaugurate two rest houses of the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) in the town and Chimbuk hill area today, said RHD officials in Bandarban.
