Fire guts seven shops in Pirojpur

Seven shops were gutted by a fire at Ikri Bazar in Bhandaria upazila in Pirojpur yesterday.

The fire originated at one of the three restaurants and soon burnt down adjacent shops, including a jewelry shop and a workshop, and caused damage worth around Tk 30 lakh, said fire officials.
