Fire guts six shops in Ctg

Six tin-roofed shops were gutted by a fire in Pashchim Madarbari area of Chittagong city early yesterday.

The fire originated in one of the shops, including a restaurant, a pharmacy and a bakery, around 3:30am, and caused damage worth around Tk 5 lakh, said fire officials.
