Foreign cigarettes seized at port

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) seized a container full of foreign cigarettes, worth Tk 4.7 crore, yesterday at Chittagong Port on charge of importing the cigarettes under false declaration.

Rab-7 Commanding Officer Lt Col Mifta Uddin Ahmed said according to the document, one FRC Knit Composite having address of Gazipur in Dhaka imported the container giving declaration of importing different types of knit composite products from Dubai.
