Govt-FAO horticulture project launched

The government has initiated a project "Enhancing Urban Horticulture Production to Improve Food and Nutrition Security" with the support of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, said a press release yesterday.

Mohammad Mejbahuddin, senior secretary to Economic Relations Division; and Mike Robson, FAO Bangladesh representative, have signed a deal.

The duration of the project, costing Tk 2.33 million, is 18 months from the date of signing.
