Hasina condemns attack on Turkish people

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep concern that 31 Turkish people were killed and over 100 were injured in a suicide bomb attack at a cultural centre in Suruc, Sunliurfa, on Monday.

"We strongly condemn the cowardly and heinous terrorist attack," she said in a message to Turkish Prime Minister Prof Ahmet Davutoğlu.

Hasina also expressed solidarity with Turkish fight against terrorism in the country and reaffirmed Bangladesh's commitment to work together with Turkey and the world community to fight against this menace.
