Hasina's birthday today

Today is the 69th birthday of Prime Minister and ruling Awami League's President Sheikh Hasina.

Hasina, the eldest daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was born on September 28 in 1947 in Tungipara of Gopalganj.

On the occasion, AL Dhaka city unit will hold a doa mahfil and a discussion at 4:00pm at the party central office on Bangabandhu Avenue. Besides, different front organisations of the party have taken several programmes. AL Central Working Committee will issue birthday wishes.

Special prayers and milad mahfils will be held at different mosques, including Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Zohr prayers. Prayers will also be offered at Dhakeshwari National Temple and other places of worship, including churches and pagodas.The ruling party will also distribute food among the poor.
