Inmate 'flees' Gazipur juvenile correction centre

An inmate, who had been in Tongi Kishore Unnayan Kendra in Gazipur since August 6, allegedly escaped from the juvenile correction centre on Wednesday.

Mohammad Robiul Islam, caretaker of the centre, filed a general dairy (GD) with Tongi Police Station in this connection.

The inmate fled when he along with 26 others went to play on the field of the centre in the afternoon on that day, Robiul said.
