JU Senate polls on Sunday

The senate election of Jahangirnagar University will be held on Sunday, said a press release.

A total of 33 teachers will be elected through this election for the next three years. Ahead of the election two panels -- one backed by pro-BNP and a faction of pro-Awami League teachers, and another by only pro-Awami League teachers -- were formed.
