Nazma Parvin

Nazma Parvin; wife of Mir Mokbul Hossain, former commercial manager of Faridpur Sugar Mill and mother of Mir Mostafizur Rahaman, news editor of English daily The Independent ; died at United Hospital in the capital on September 24. She was 61.

She left behind her husband, another son, and two daughters.

She was buried besides her parents' graves at Sadapur under Nababganj upazila in Dhaka.

Family members requested all to pray for her departed soul.
