New Bangladesh envoy to Lebanon meets president

Newly appointed Bangladesh ambassador to Lebanon Abdul Motaleb Sarkar made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban yesterday.

During the meeting, the President asked the new envoy to take initiatives for strengthening Bangladesh's trade ties with Lebanon and also boosting medicine and skilled manpower export from Bangladesh, said President's press secretary Joynal Abedin.

Secretaries concerned to the President office were present on the occasion.
